As you can see his deck is very standard which makes the deck as good as before.Yes, the deck has lost it's 1 card almost win card when resolved in Future Fusion,2 Chaos Sorcerers and a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (no one uses 3 anyways in chaos dragons) but the deck is still explosive as hell.Summoning boss monsters for free is something to be feared. No deck in this format can handle a huge stream of monsters which contains 2000+ attack even wind-ups didn't survived the aggression of this deck.Sure wind-ups is the best deck of the format but the explosiveness of Chaos Dragons is very unpredictable you don't know when you will die against them.
All I can say he made a great call in maining Maxx "C" because he can swarm the field and force his opponent to special summon monsters under Maxx "C" which will surely net him lots of cards to fight back next turn.If his opponent just played passively surely he will die next turn because of the large stream of boss monsters. If I were to change something in his deck I will swap the Night Assailant and the Dimensional Alchemist for a pair of Debris Dragon.OCG does not yet have Tour Guide but I have seen Japanese players like NANA and others that used the deck and won which showed that the deck is a legitimate threat to every deck out there.
So that's it for my productive post LOL anyway I have something to say to the Hiero player that placed 4th on YCS Indianapolis: Hieratics is an OTK deck I know, but when your opponent played Maxx "C" ,know when to stop because you will not always get lucky if you allow your opponent to net 10+ cards.
See you guys! Thanks for your time.
